WAAST Prayer Guide – July 24, 2022

The tabernacle fabrication shop on the WAAST campus continues to serve both WAAST and churches in Togo. This past year the shop and the team of local workers have been crucial to the construction and completion of the new dormitory and covered parking area, and have produced several tabernacles (steel shelters) that have been erected in various places for churches. One of these church buildings was financed and placed by the youth of the Assemblies of God of Togo in the central part of the country. The receiving church is responsible for providing and preparing the land. Once the structure is erected and roofed, the congregation can immediately use it, and complete their building with a floor and walls as the Lord provides. Building teams from the U.S. also use the shop, but unfortunately no team was able to come this past year.

Please pray

  • for funds to produce more tabernacles; one roofed building can be fabricated and erected for $5,000;
  • that more building teams would be able to come to help meet the great need for permanent church structures;
  • for provision for local churches to purchase land;
  • for opportunities to erect tabernacles in areas of the country where many people resist the gospel. A solid building cannot be easily burned down, and often serves as a testimony of God’s provision.
