WAAST Prayer Guide – November 7, 2021

THE 2021 GRADUATION

WAAST is marking its 50th anniversary with a record number of graduates! This coming Saturday, November 13, 150 students will walk across the platform to receive their hard-earned diplomas: 20 the Post-secondary Diploma in Theology, 120 the Bachelor of Theology, and 10 the Master of Arts in Theological Studies. These “Heralds of the Gospel,” the Class of 2021, come from 13 nations. Four more students—two of them WAAST alumni—will receive the PhD or DMin degree from Pan-Africa Theological Seminary. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, attendance is limited to spouses, and the on-campus receptions for graduates normally held will not take place. The ceremony will be broadcast online, allowing family, friends, and church members to “attend” and cheer on their graduates. It begins at 8 a.m. GMT and can be viewed on the WAAST International Chapel’s YouTube channel: https://tinyurl.com/tv-cif and on the Chapel’s Facebook page: https://tinyurl.com/fb-cif.

Please pray

  • for safe travels for those coming to participate in or attend the graduation;
  • that no Internet issues would disrupt the broadcasting of the ceremony;
  • that those who do not yet know Jesus, and who “attend” this ceremony, would be touched and challenged to receive Him;
  • that the Lord would bless these graduates as they return to their respective ministries, and help them to apply their knowledge with wisdom for the growth of His kingdom.

Look What the Lord Has Done!

We praise the Lord for His protection over this campus during the semester; everyone completed the semester in good health. Thank God also for the capability to share this graduation event around the world through social media.
