WAAST Prayer Guide – June 27, 2021
RESIDENT STAFF & LOCAL EMPLOYEES AT THE CENTRAL CAMPUS
Campus houses are filling up as resident new personnel are moving in! Two new couples have arrived, and three more families plan to come in the next few months. These people are supported by their respective missions in the US, Canada, France, and Switzerland, and all have experience in West Africa and in higher education. Some will work primarily with WAAST, and others with the PAThS doctoral program hosted on the campus. Local employees faithfully fulfill the vital roles of receptionist, business manager, registrar, librarian, and their assistants. Others serve as guards, custodians, and groundskeepers, and another team feeds hungry students and professors. Each plays a part in the smooth running of the campus and its effective ministry of training.
- for the new resident faculty members as they settle in, build relationships, and begin their ministry here at WAAST;
- for a spirit of unity and appreciation of one another as this new team learns to work together;
- for the local employees, that each would find joy in his or her job and see it as a ministry as well.
Look What the Lord Has Done!
We have prayed for several years for more resident personnel; praise God for His answer and provision of a more multinational faculty.
