WAAST offers a Master of Arts and a bachelor of theology (B.Th.) degree in English and the equivalent in French. Its bilingual nature allows students from all over West and Central Africa to follow the program in their language. Students come from the English-speaking nations of Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, and from the French-speaking nations of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Mali, Rwanda, and Togo. Visit the academics section for information about programs and for the tuition and fees for the current year.
In 1994 the first extension center was launched, in Cote d’Ivoire. Today eight extension centers allow students to attend for six weeks, twice each year, without leaving their families and ministries. Centers are located in Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, DRC, Ghana, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and on the central campus in Togo. All students complete their thesis work during 15 weeks on the Lomé campus. Visit the "Extension Centers" page for more details about each center.
Also in 1994, the school opened a graduate program, called the Assemblies of God Graduate School (AGGST). AGGST offers Master of Arts degrees in Missiology / Evangelism and in Christian Education. In May 2002 the French program, offering an M.A. in Missiology, was opened.
